how do I find and uninstall drivers for a usb wifi on Macbook pro running sierra

I downloaded the drivers and the uninstall packages for this wifi usb stick. Installed the uninstall ackages but now don't know how to find them and uninstall. I have looked in finder but it just shows them in my dowmloads. Thank you.

I can't find the uninstaller package. If I open it in downloads it just wants to install the uninstaller again. The only place I can find it is in downloads. I have a macbook pro laptop running Sierra 10.12.4. My airport card is done so I bought a usb wifi adapter. Installed all the drivers and it worked for a week but now won't. I contacted the company and they said it only supports up to 10.12. They have refunded my money but I would like to uninstall them. Thanks.

Did you look on the desktop, in Applications, and in Utilities?

If it doesn't show up anywhere, download/install FindAnyFile (safe and useful), enter the name of the offending product, click on Find, and from the window that opens delete the appropriate files; also find any files which have related names (I wouldn't know what they are, but if you do, find them) and zap them too.

You should be good to go after this.

No files on the desktop but after searching through finder I did find a ton of files. Threw them all in the trash but still have the icon at the top of my screen. I have read that throwing things away is not the same as uninstalling them. I'm still an old newbie, doing the best that I can. I have found in Utilities>Library> installations, some files that are associated, but I can't throw them in the trash. When I search for them they're not there. Thanks for caring. This is driving me nuts. I'm still tethered.

You're correct, that's why uninstalling is always best, and the first choice.

"I have found in Utilities>Library> installations, some files that are associated, but I can't throw them in the trash. When I search for them they're not there."

I don't understand. Find Any File can't find them but looking in Installations can? Something doesn't sound right.

Set FAF to the name of your hard drive, and below that, "Name" and "Contains."

Now search for just the main portion of the apps name (what is it by the way?), such as if the name of the app is " Wizard of Wi-Fi" just search for "Wizard."

If FAF finds them, delete them right from the FAF window, don't go looking for them wherever they are.
