Is a Pages update available after 5.6.2?

A banner has appeared on my MacBook Air advising that an update to Pages is available. There is none in the app store. Is there an update after 5.6.2?

MacBook Air, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

The update is to Pages 6.1 (or later), which requires macOS Sierra. The app store is smart enough to know your system doesn't meet the requirements; the announcement isn't (or wants you to upgrade that as well—which may not be possible, depending on your hardware).

The current version is Pages 6.1.1.

You can not get it because you first need to update your System to Mac OS 10.12 Sierra.

Check the requirements for any App in the App Store under Information.

Thank you. It may be time for me to buy a new MacBook Air, though the one I have has been such a reliable friend.
