Remotely control iPhone

No. There is no way to remotely control an iOS device. That would be a massive security hole. It ain't gonna happen.

I don't agree, there are secure ways to do this. Have you seen any official publications from Apple stating this "ain't gonna happen"? My mom called Apple Care the other day and they took control of her iPhone and iPad, so I know it's possible. Seems short-sided to allow Apple Care have this capability but not allow administrators supporting Enterprise Applications to do so. Also, this capability has been available on Android and Windows phone for a while.

I use TeamViewer to access another computer remotely but in TeamViewer 12 the feature to control your iPhone or iPad was added. Try downloading TeamViewer on your computer then downloading the TeamViewer apps for you iPad/iPhone.

Apps are certainly available to provide some features by remote access. They are typically enterprise level and priced accordingly. They rely on an installed management profile to do allow remote access.

Unfortunately that only allows screen shots. Windows and Android support full remote, but iOS devices appear to only support static screen shots.

Also, this capability has been available on Android and Windows phone for a while.

And we all know how secure Android and Windows Phones (those that are left) are.

Agreed on the Windows side. Not so much on Android, which has a much larger share of the smartphone market than Apple.
