Hotmail Icons on Bookmarks looks wrong

1. Empty the Trash.

Quit all applications.

Hold the option key down and click the "Go" menu in the Finder menu bar.

Select "Library" from the drop down.

2. Scroll down the list and click open the Safari folder

3. Scroll down the list, right click on “Webpageicons.db” file and choose “Move to Trash”.

4. Restart the Mac and test.

If this doesn’t help, “Put Back” the “Webpageicons.db” file.

Right click on the Trash icon in the Dock and select “Open”.

Right click on the “Webpageicons.db” and select “Put Back”.

Hello! Are you still having this issue? I think I have found a way to solve it since I had the same problem! (My hotmail looked just like that till a few minutes ago!) have you tried setting your safari on your iPhone to "private browsing?" I did this as a last resort it will unfortunately close all windows in safari that you have open but this did work for me. Just open safari and act like your opening a new window at the bottom you will see the word "private" click it. After setting it to private browsing close safari completely then reopen it and click on any of the weird icons that look odd. Like the hotmail, let the website load then close safari completely again. As a precaution go to settings > safari > advanced >website data and delete and remove all website data then reopen safari. (When deleting the website history it should automatically turn off private browsing too i think) when you open safari it should show proper icons again! This worked for me! Hope it helps you! I even turned my phone off and on again to see if it still looked right when I went back to safari and it does! :)
