in mail the photo browser link is not working

Hi,

For a long time now when I open Mail I cannot access my photo library. When I click on the photo browser link in the tool bar an empty pop up window appears with a little photos icon at the top right - but no photos.

How do I link to my current library (I have several)?

I have the feeling this should be easy to fix but I have searched on line and not found a solution.

Any advice much appreciated
