Is there anywhere you can sell an iPod touch for "parts" or even "scrap"?

Hi. I have an iPod touch (2nd generation) that is in a continuous loop. You plug it in to give it some power and it'll stay on for a while but turn off...then turn back on. Before now it was in restore mode and now this. I read somewhere that if you bend the iPod just a little bit it'll fix the issue? As if the screen were pushed in? Well that didn't work. I attempted to take the screen off, it broke across the top. Yeah, dumb move. Is there anywhere that would buy my outdated-discontinued iPod for parts/scrap? I'm not expecting a ton of money, obviously its now junk after buying it off Ebay to begin with in 2015. IF anyone can let me know, that'd be great. Wouldn't want it taking up space and collecting dust and I don't want to just toss it in the trash. Thanks.

PS: All I ever used it for was to listen to music, considering it's outdated.
