Hi,
Open Safari > Safari menu > Preferences > Advanced > click on check box for Internet plug-ins: Stop plug-ins to save power > where is says "Plug-ins start automatically on: (website)" click on Details > click on Remove all > click on Done > go to Security tab > click on one app at a time on the left side > click on "Off" for each item on the right side.

I had the box checked to not allow videos to autoplay. However this morning they started autoplaying. so I looked for the setting to no avail. Found this page & it confirms that setting is gone. I'm not sure if it was due to a recent update from Apple or not, but my machine is brand, & on this I'm not happy.
