Not for forwarding SMS, only iMessage. That is messages from iOS users. A text message or SMS, uses the cellular network, and they make the rules. I've never seen the ability to forward text messages. These are some of the issues with having two devices like that. Many work devices do not allow you to use your personal iCloud account, so even forwarding iMessages may be impossible. You would have to find out from your employer if they would allow you to add your personal iCloud account, or if you could add your work iCloud account to your personal phone. Lots of problems can occur with these types of setups.
If your provider supports call forwarding, you can forward calls, but you cannot forward text messages. iMessages could be received if you are logged into the same iCloud ID, but SMS messages cannot be forwarded, unless the carriers have learned something I'm not aware of. You could ask.
Ok thanks for your help yes my cell phone provider is capable of doing it but only with other phones with the same company.my work phone is with a different company and they do not have that service. I hope someone comes up with this plan SOON cuz carrying around 2 phones is ********...
Thanks for your help
I remember my Nextel days. I was able to have two lines on my phone, so I could have my work phone and home phone. I've read one of these days they may be able to support those things again on other carriers. I understand how it can be, I used to have to do the same thing, again with different carriers. Some of the issues that can occur with different carriers and different support. At least your work is providing you a device. Be thankful you don't have to provide all of your work contacts your personal number and have to deal with them all the time on your personal phone. Good luck.
High Chris thank you for the reply..
