Not able to apply tempered glass on iphone 7

I'm having the same issue however it is only on one specific phone. I have two iPhone 7's, one for work and one is my personal phone. I have had multiple screen protectors on my personal phone and they all fit perfectly. I have tried at least 6 on my work phone and they all have the halo effect around the edges. The problem definitely follows that specific phone and is really frustrating.

Apple doesn't offer any comment, suggestion or otherwise when it comes to screen protectors of any kind. So you would need to either talk to the vendors of the glass screen protectors, or just keep trying different ones.

I've never used any kind of screen protector at all with my iPhones and iPads and never had an issue. However, I do use cases that have covers over the screen when not in use, so that helps guard against accidental damage (e.g. my iPhone 7 is in a Sena leather wallet book case so the screen is covered when carried in a bag or my pocket, and my iPad pro is in a logitech create keyboard/case).

My daughter uses the Belkin Invisiglass that is sold at the Apple store. They will install it right there. She is on the second one, the first one chipped, which would have been her phone screen had she not had it on there. I'm not a fan of screen protectors, but given that this could have cost me a phone, I'm rather happy with it.

The edges of the screen is curved, most tempered glasses end exactly where the curves begin. Due to this there is a small air gap between the screen and the tempered glass as the glass cannot settle completely. I have faced the same issues with 5 to 6 tempered glasses & finally tried Anker's tempered glass for the iPhone 7. Trust me Anker's tempered glass will not have the halo issue as it is smaller compared to all other available tempered glasses and the quality is superb.

I have the same problem I had to put protective plastic because all the glass generate the halo effect

I use the Zagg protector and don't have a problem with halo's.
