Logic Pro 10.3 freezes when saving

It seems to be lagging out because of Time Machine on my computer. Anyone else having a similar problem?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, 2.9 GHz, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB HD

Time Machine should be off/disabled when using Logic.
