will a ipad air case fit a ipad 5th gen?
Buying a case for my 5th gen iPad and I was wondering if a iPad Air case would fit it.

As of today (9/13/2017), LifeProof does not make a case for the iPad 2017 (5th gen). I just called them to ask the same question.

There are case makers that have legitimate cases for the new 2017, iPad 5, now!
iPad Air 1 cases fit, but there is a problem with volume button controls placement and you would need to modify the case yourself. And the back mic placement on the new 2017 iPads is in a completely different spot and someone mentioned that the speaker areas may not line up exactly, too!
Were you able to find a good case?
As I previously stated, Amazon has legitimate iPad 5 cases, now.
Yes, I was just hoping to find like otter box, life proof, griffin survivor for it. Water proof, shock proof, etc. Its for a child.
