Last year the FCC started requiring TracFone and its brands (which includes Straight Talk) to unlock their phones. If the phone is unable to be unlocked, the consumer can send it in and they will replace it with a phone that can be unlocked. However, you do have to be a customer for a minimum of 12 months before you can request for the phone to be unlocked.
You don't. StraightTalk does not offer unlocking.

Contact the carrier it's locked to. They are the ONLY ones who can authorize unlocking it.
