Jaybird X3 and Macbook Pro

Hi everyone,

I just received my Jaybird X3 earbuds, and they connect perfectly with my iPhone 7. However, when i tried to connect them to my Macbook pro via the bluetooth section in system preferences, my mac couldn't find the earbuds at all. Anyone who has experienced a similar problem?

Hi,

If you're sure they're charged, and Bluetooth is turned on:

If you’re experiencing issues with your buds like connectivity, audio, and distortion, or connecting to the MySound app, you may want to try resetting your headphones.

To reset your buds, follow the steps below.

  1. Make sure your buds are powered off.
  2. From an off state, press and hold the power button for 8 seconds until the LEDs flash red and green.
  3. Double press the power button. The LED will flash rapidly and you should hear a double tone. Your buds have now been reset.

Note: When you reset your buds, you will lose any saved presets and any saved devices on the paired list. You’ll need to repair your buds to your Bluetooth device.
