How can I delete a certificate trust in the settings?

Hi, In setting general about and then scroll down, I've found certificate trust settings. I when I open this I see 12vpn.com certificate which wants a root acces. How can I delete this? I have deleted all profiles in my iphone. I have reset all network settings and settings. I have wiped my device and restored the backup, and this root access is still there. Maybe some one can help me. Thanks

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 10.3.1

Hi,

I had the same poblem, that I had an enterprise root cert in the certificate trust settings, which I only can enable or disable, but there is no delete option.

I checked my profiles and there was no certificate which installs the root. If I remember, I got the cert from an old MDM systm.

The way to delete it, is very easy if you habe the certificate as cert file:

Send the certificate to your own mail address on the device.

open the mail on the device and install the certificate as new profile. You will be asked for your device password.

go to profiles and check, if the new profile is installed

delete the certificate profile again.

the certificate should now be deleted from the certificate settings too

Perhaps its possible to extrackt the certificate from an iphone backup.
