When you block a phone number or contact, they can still leave a voicemail, but you won't get a notification. I assume no notification means it won't ring at all.

I have not experienced what happens when you call a person who had blocked you but an old friend texted me and when I replied a few days later via text, I received a delayed auto text saying that this person had blocked me. I don't remember the exact words, but the message was clear. I think it would just go straight to voicemail. We both had iPhones.
Hope that helped a little.

The whole idea of blocking is that if someone has blocked you, you as the person being blocked cannot tell. You would have to ask the person if they blocked you; otherwise, you will not know.
Is it true when someone has blocked you and you try to call them, it will ring once and go to voicemail? or will it just go straight to voicemail?
