How can I change the pitch of a loop on Garageband 10.1.1

When you add an Apple loop to a Track in GarageBand, the loop will automatically conform to the tempo and the key of the project.

If you want to change the pitch of a loop to transpose it to a different key,

• select the loop in the track,
• open the track editor,
• then use the transpose slider to transpose the key by half tone steps.
