Sharing Note error: 'Sorry, your invitation couldn’t be sent.'

I had the same issue and the only solution I found was to open a new document and copy paste the content of the document that I was not able to share (which was kind of old) onto a new document. For some reason, the new document was finally shareable. 🙂

I hope this also solves your sharing problem too.

In system preferences > Extensions > make sure the box for Facebook is checked .

Then open iCloud notes , click on plus icon

A pop - up window appears enter the credentials .

Make sure in system preferences > iCloud , notes , mail ....are checked except back to My Mac , same way in the internet accounts , notes , mail ...are checked .

I'm having the same problem (or at least the same uninformative error message). I'm attempting to share a doc from Numbers.app (vs. Notes in your case). I am trying to share via e-mail (vs. using Facebook in your case).

I can and do send mail all the time (from both iCloud and other accounts) on this machine. The person i am trying to send to is someone i send mail to routinely and whose primary email address happens to be an iCloud address.

It is frustrating to me that this error message is so completely un-informative as to the cause of the problem (or the fix). I tried looking in Console.app. I could see the error, but could not discern any useful additional details as to the cause.
