How to add a blank slide into slideshow in Photos?

Im making a slideshow with pictures for a classroom party. I want to add a Title slide at the beginning and a Closing Slide. I've Tried creating the slides with the text i want in pages and saving as a PDF , but when i click the drop down box to save the PDF, it does not give me the option to save into Photos.

Any help will be much appreciated!

Create the slide in whatever app you want. Pages, if you have it is very versatile as you can select background color as well as text color. The create this Automator workflow or app:

I saved mine as an application.

Put the app in the HD/Library/PDF Services folder:

User uploaded file

Then when you want to get a jpeg of the document you're working on do a Print to PDF and select Convert to JPEG in the contextual menu that appears:

User uploaded file

The jpeg will appear on the Desktop.
