No emoji on SE phone

If you have more than one keyboard installed, you should see a key to the left of the microphone, to the left of the spacebar to select different keyboards. The ability to select the emoji list should be there. If the emoji is the only other keyboard you have installed, then there should be a smiley face on the button. Tap it and the emoji screen should appear in place of the keyboard.

Do not use any arrow. Simply strike the emoji key at the bottom of the alphabetic keyboard, then choose the emoji you wish to insert, and you will have it.
