Sennheiser PXC 550 won't play movie audio.

iTunes version 12.6.0.100

When connected to the laptop via Bluetooth my headset will only play audio when listening to music. TV Shows, Movies, Home Videos all play but no sound is heard through the laptop or headset. I can manually choose the laptop speakers and sound resumes.

Sennheiser says that this is an iTunes issue. I have have tried changing preferences between Direct Sound and Windows Audio Session with no luck.
