YouTube app doesn't work on my iPhone

I have an iPhone 7plus that I bought few months back. The youtube app doesn't work on this instrument. I can see the app as installed on my iPhone when I check under AppStore but I don't see it anywhere on my phone and when I try to start/open app from AppStore still it doesn't work (picture attached). I have 4 other apple devices including another iPhone 7, ipad, 5S etc and the app works fine on all the other devices

Hello RohitM,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities about the YouTube app. What happens when you open it from the location you have pictured? You may also be able to find it using the search feature within iOS. From the top of your device, swipe down and type YouTube in the search.

If the app opens then crashes, please try the steps provided in this help article: If an app you installed unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open .

Thank you very much Allen. I consulted the link provided but somehow the problem still remains. As I can not see the youtube app on my phone (but can see only under "Appstore" purchases) so only way to remove the app is via synchronising with mac. Tried that as well but post installation of app again I still have the same issue.
