Horizontal lines on my iphone 5s

Hey guys, this afternoon my friend showed me this horizontal line on his iphone 5s and right after when i also got home and plug in charger a few minutes later i check my iphone and there this many horizontal lines on my screen.. please what do you think the problem is??

Vertical lines on the display is a clear indicator that there is some kind of hardware failure with the device. I would recommend reviewing iPhone Service Answer Center - Apple Support for Apples repair options. If you do decide to have it repaired by an un-authorized service provide please keep in mind that Apple can't guarantee the safety or quality of parts used by third-parties.
