Airdrop asking to Accept

I have been using Airdrop to transfer files, photos, etc between my iPad Air 2, iPhone 6s and MacBook Pro (Sierra) with no problems until this week. Now every time I try to send something from one device to the other, I have to "Accept". I've never had to do this before and according to the description of Airdrop (see below), I shouldn't have to do this. All devices are using the same Apple IDs for iTunes, App Store and iCloud.

Any ideas?
