Is it possible to automate call-forwarding?

I would like to turn on call-forwarding based on either the time of day or based on my location. At work I miss cellphone calls and so I have started to forward them to my work number. I thought that maybe IFTTT would do this based on my proximity to my office, but it will only send a reminder.

So now I want to ask the community if they know of a way to automatically turn on/off call-forwarding at a set time, Monday through Friday or if there is a way to do it based on my proximity? Any help is appreciated by myself, but more so by my wife!!!

This is not an iPhone feature. It's a carrier (cell phone provider service).

Even though you have an on/off button in Settings → Phone → Call Forwarding.

You can suggest this as a future feature to Apple: https://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

You can call your carrier and ask them if they can implement this call forwarding schedule for you.

Perhaps they have a feature like this on your account on their web account portal.

It's not exactly a fix but it might help. Find out how to enable what carriers sometimes call "No Answer/Busy/Transfer". It's like call forwarding but it only kicks in if the line is engaged or if you don't answer.
