Help bringing up toolbar/tool palette in Final Cut Pro X

I just downloaded the trial version of Final Cut Pro X. I recall from using this app once before, as well as seeing this on multiple tutorial videos, there's a toolbar located in the gray bar under the screen. Specifically, this was located on the far right side of the gray bar. It contained the magic wand icon, swirly wand icon, camera, music, font, and other icons. Mine currently only shows icons for turning video/audio skimming off, solo selected items, snapping, change appearance of clips, and show or hide effects/transition browser. I hate this. Could someone please tell me how to get the old toolbar? Thank you so much. I'll include a screenshot of what mine looks like.User uploaded file

What you are describing is the "ToolBar" from FCP X version 2 and earlier.

What your screenshot shows is the newer version 3x.

You cannot configure the "Tool Bar" in any way at this time.

Maybe your best bet is to submit a request in the Final Cut Pro Feedback page:

BTW: All the tools are still there but some have been relocated.
