no voice recording device win10 bootcamp

i have a bootcamp version of win10 on my mac and everything works smoothly aside from audio recording. it doesn't recognise the internal speakers as an option (not even on the list) to record audio from despite recognising it for audio output.

the same goes for my headphones, the only difference for headphones being they are on the recording list but appear as not plugged in. but fully functioning on the playback list.

i have tried reinstalling cirrus audio drivers and also ran the audio troubleshooting lots of times. the only solution it gives is to disable enhancements (i have). still no joy. how can i fix this??

id really like the headphones to recognise they are plugged in with a mic so i can play games online
