I too have the same problem with my 6s. Fully charged at night, then wake up in the morning with it nearly fully drained. I'm having to charge twice a day whether I use it or not. I've looked at all the solutions, turning off various apps, closing this, closing that, all to no avail. I've checked the battery replacement site but it says I'm not eligible. My first iPhone and it will be my last, I'm seriously unimpressed.
I agree with you. This happened all of the sudden for me too. Says I am not eligible too. My 5s was much better, I hate this phone and it turns me off apple too. The replies are basic stuff doesn't really tell us what we don't already know. It's like too bad.
Same here. I charge it to 100% at night, turn it off (actual POWER OFF with the slider), and wake up to a drained battery. iPhone 6s . The serial number did not come up in the Apple search. And yet, same deal: full charge to 100%, turn off for evening, and wake up to a dead battery.
I went through the LONG process with a nice, patient support person--back-up, connect to Mac, restore. That didn't fix it. Since I had 3 weeks to one-year anniversary, I asked Verizon to replace it. I don't trust this phone.
Apple needs to look into the wider number of serial numbers/phones with this battery issue. My 4s had better battery life than this. I assumed it was normal that I only got 4 hours. Now, I figure it was a crap battery from the get-go. Makes one wonder if Apple quality control is skidding...
Steve Jobs is turning over in his grave.
Spangly, I did all that before calling support. Turned off background refresh, deleted apps, and other tips I found on the forum and articles. That helped not one bit. Have the latest software. Didn't help.
This has to be a hardware thing. Shoot, I barely use .3 gig of data monthly, so it's not like I burn through app use. And I turn it off when not in use to conserve battery, and always have, even with the 4s.
Hubby already switched away from iPhone and, well, let's see how the replacement goes. If that one has a crap battery, too....I'll need to consider a different phone. Don't wanna uncouple from Apple (as I have a mini, an iMac, and a Macbook Pro). I like keeping it Appley.
