Bitdefender is preventing my iPhone from accessing the internet!
*** Bitdefender 'Box' is preventing one of my iPhones from accessing the internet! How can I deactivate or turn this off on iPhone? This happened when I activated their Box. Isn't Apple's sandbox design suppose to prevent this? **
Bitdefender's antivirus software has successfully protected all my PC's for years. Sometime ago I bought their "Box", which is a piece of hardware you hookup to your router, and it protects all your PC's and wireless devices in your house. I had 9 PC's with 3 license, but with their "Box" you only need one license to control everything.
***Everything is working ok except for one of my iPhone 6's.*** When I try to connect that iPhone to my WiFi, a Bitdefender Box popup window appears saying the administrator has sent me a request to "joint the network". If I click on cancel, it prevents WiFi access to any of my home networks. What it wants me to do is install a bunch of their apps so they can control my iPhone remotely. I clicked on their "!" icons and their descriptions say their administrator will manage my iPhone apps and internet remotely. Kind of sounds like everything I do will go thru their server and their admin will control my iphone. I'm not sure, but I don't like the sound of that. All I want them to do is stop attacks on my iPhone, not control it remotely without me knowing they're peeping into my iPhone.
