Healthcare workers beware of oleophobic coating

Chlorhexidine or other alcohol based hand sanitizers or hand cleaners are commonly used in hospital. I probably use it at least 30-40 times a day in between patient encounters. My Apple Watch 2 sapphire screen developed light brown rusty discoloration on surface in couple months. It was replaced by Apple. Thought was its oleophobic coating is damaged. I have been very careful trying not to get sanitizer on sapphire screen or try to rinse off with water since but it is not possible. It has been couple months since replacement but I am noticing discoloration again.

Well, if you are healthcare worker and wearing Apple Watch or other smart watch, beware of oleophobic coating and any sanitizer.
