Using Fios my iPhone 7 says it's connected to WiFi but really isn't

So here's the fix if your iPhone 7 says it's connected to WiFi but you can't access the WiFi. It's your Verizon Fios router that's the culprit. Look at the router and access the Fios router page: myfiosgateway.com. Use the password on the sticker that's on the router for "administration". When you log into Verizon Router you are at the main page. Now go into your iPhone and find the WiFi address for your phone: Settings - general- about. Look down the page where it says "WiFi Address". Go back to the Verizon Router page. Click on the "My Network" tab at the top of the page. You will see all devices in your household that either are or are not connected to WiFi. I found my phone via it's Apple WiFi Address and-low and behold-for some unknown reason, it was listed as "blocked". I clicked "unblock this device" for my phone and problem solved.
