Hi all,
I've just updated to the Apple watch OS 3.2.2. and now my watch is not unlocking with the passcode, it still unlocks using my home button on my iPhone but indicating that I am entering the wrong passcode when I try on my watch, my girlfriend updated hers at the same time and has no problems.

I do not know why your Apple Watch is not accepting your passcode (assuming you are entering it correctly). The only solution I can find is:
If you forgot the passcode for your Apple Watch - Apple Support
where it says: you need to erase your Apple Watch, then set it up again. When you set up your watch, you can choose a new passcode and restore your watch from a backup if you have one.
You might first try to force restart your Apple Watch to see if that helps:
A "forced restart" as I referred to in the "Force restart your Apple Watch" section of:
Restart your Apple Watch - Apple Support
does not require you to restore from a backup. You should not lose any information. But in any case, I'm glad all is now OK.

For future reference, note that Apple advises that you should not force restart your Apple Watch unless it is unresponsive and cannot be restarted normally:
I know what you said is true about forced restarts on the Apple Watch. And Apple says essentially the same thing about forced restarts on the iPhone. Yet time and time again, that seems to be the first line of defense. Any idea why Apple recommends against this? Just curious.

Thanks for the info and advise but on the flip side I could not unlock it with my passcode which I do whenever I put it on and could find no other way of sorting it, I tried normal shut down and restart, I'm still shocked that an update could cause this but it's okay now so happy again.

Just re-started but still the same.
Did you just restart it or did you also "force restart" it? See the above link.
I just re-started it but am going to try a force restart now but a bit annoyed I'm going to loose everything and have to start again just because of an update.
Just done a re-boot and restored from a back-up and all is okay now, Thanks for the help.

I would suggest you trying to turn your Apple Watch completely off and gen turn it back on.
