Remove and download the iOS update again

I would follow these instructions that are in the support article that you were reading and from which you were linked to this support site.
Get help with over-the-air iOS updates - Apple Support
Remove and download the iOS update again
If you still can't install the latest version of iOS, try downloading the update again:
- Go to Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage. Under Storage tap Manage Storage.
- Find the iOS update in the list of apps.
- Tap the iOS update, then tap Delete Update.
- Go to Settings > General > Software Update and download the latest iOS update.
If you don’t see the update in the list of apps or if the issue happens again, you need to update your device with iTunes.
did this as suggested If you see an error when you update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support but still not successful. what worked is that i bought extra cloud storage and did my backup there and transferred to my new phone. the problem is that in the in the old phone, my imessage settings was still saved despite reset. my mobile phone is still loaded there and you can only do imsg/facetime via email. any tips?
thank you
i had the same problem whilst trying to fix issues, you will have to use itunes to do the update, if you press and hold sleep/wake buttons itunes will come up after the apple logo goes away
or just ring support it has to do with update issues so they should talk you through it
I have the same prob. Error when you update via phone... then you cannot update via iTunes since iphone6 won't sync to the iTunes... now what to do. Tried reinstalling iTunes on diff computers still the same error
On iphone: either verifying update which will take forever then eventually hang or if does come through, it will say error
On itunes, it is the same thing it will start then eventually stop downloading.
I have found a solution to the problem. Backup all your stuff with iTunes(I would suggest encrypting it), restore the iPhone, then in the setup process select to restore from iTunes backup. That's it!
Backup your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch using iTunes, restore the iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch using iTunes or using the Settings app on your device (go to General > Reset > Delete all content and data) and then restore it from the backup.
This doesn't explain why these Verification Updates don't verify correctly, nor does this solve the problem for someone who uses an iDevice independently from iTunes. This is a solid work-around, but I'd love to know how to fix the problem so it will verify an OTA update instead of constantly being told to do it another way. If OTA updates are still something Apple supports, then they should have a fix/solution to the OTA updates not working, shouldn't they? And not just a work-around, suggesting to do it a different way, which requires the customer own another piece of computing hardware. Does anyone know how to fix a "Verifying Update" failure?!? Or does everyone not know, including Apple's tech employees?!?
I've tried to delete the update and downloading it back again but still getting the same message an "error occurred" while installing iOS 10.3.2
Think I should say tha same happened with 10.3.1
Did that and it still has error when attempting to verify update.

If you cannot install the update over-the-air, you will need to update your device with iTunes
Okay try these steps for iTunes:
If you see an error when you update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support
Okay have you tried to update your device with iTunes?
