SSD hard drive to usb

I have a SSD hard drive taken from my MacBook Pro Retina display 15" mid 2012 (A1398). New, I'm using a different model of Mac. I have been devastatingly looking for a SSD to USB adapter/converter to connect the SSD hard drive to my new Mac.


Can anyone help look on Amazon or eBay for a right adapter so that I can recover my data? I did some search but couldn't confirm whether the SSD is a m.2 or SATA (don't even know what these two mean, either)

No, I don't need the SSD. I have the SSD. But now, I'm using a different model of Mac and need to recover data from the SSD I took from my old MacBook Pro 15" Retina Display Mid 2012 (I dont have this Mac anymore).

Instead, I need an SSD to USB adapter, something like this:
