I use my airpods all the time and last week i tried them while riding my motorcycle. Everything works great until about 35 to 40 mph, at that point the music cuts off and i have no sound. Once i slow down to below 30, the music starts back up automatically. My phone is mounted to my handlebars. Let me know if anyone has any thoughts on this.
I ride everyday and these things cut out all the time. I bought them specifically for riding my motorcycle and they suck for that purpose. If I tilt my head they cut out, if I take my hand off the handlebar, they cut out. I've even had them completely replaced already and still no change. I don't know if its the wind noise or what but apple needs to address this problem.
Probably something to do with vibration at higher speed. You are certainly not near the speed of sound 😝
You are the first person I have encountered that used the things on a bike.....seems like a good idea, actually.

I would think it may be the vibration in the helmet, if you are wearing one, that could be causing an issue with the connection/Siri maybe. Since it is disabling music playback, I would think Siri. Do you see anything unusual on the screen when this occurs?
