Correct, as you can not install Apps via a browser on an iPhone. Only Apps from the App Store can be installed.

That's right. The only place you can get iOS apps is the app store.
My iPhone 4 can't download apps from web browser(safari) There's a warning message that says "couldn't download the app at this time" and "done" and "retry". What can I do?
