Adding music from itunes to ipod touch 5th gen.

I have an iPod touch 5th generation using iOS 9.3.5 and my itunes has been updated to version 12.6.1.25.

I recently erased and reset the ipod to factory settings and restored it to my most recent backup (another headache I don't want to deal or think about right now).

When I sync my ipod, I only have a playlist available and no other tracks. I don't always have wifi to use iCloud and have always relied on having my music available on my ipod.

I have also check and recheck 'Sync only checked music and videos' on Options and synced each time with no such luck.

Short of making a playlist with every single song I have, is there any option or solution I can do to put music on with or without iCloud on?

Hi xfromdcity,

I understand you want to sync your iPod touch with iTunes and you are experiencing some issues. It sounds like you are selecting the Sync only checked songs and videos option from the Summary tab and not the Sync Music option under the Music tab of the sidebar. You may be an Apple Music member if the Sync Music option is missing from the Music tab. In order to sync your iPod with iTunes, you would need to sign out of Apple Music on your iPod touch since you do not have access to Wi-Fi to make media available for offline listening. This can sign out of Apple Music on your iPod by going to Settings > Music.
