iTunes error saying api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing.
Hey everyone,
I updated iTunes yesterday to version 12.6.1.25 and out of nowhere, it stopped working and started claiming that the error was due to me missing api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll.
I've tried every fix so far, including updating my Windows drivers, completely uninstalling and reinstalling version 12.6.1.25, completely uninstalling that version and reinstalling version 12.6.0.100 instead, and I've contacted Apple Support through Twitter. They're just as stumped as I am. I've also tried a system restore, but I don't appear to have a restore point that goes far back enough.
I can clearly see that I'm missing the api.dll in Program Files, but there's no way for me to get the .dll. I don't understand why iTunes just decided to stop working with the update.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
