Hello, something strange happen to day . I for some reason lost my capability to highlight text and speak to me..
I decided I needed to reset my iMac back to factory, however it still does not work .
any ideas ?

I see that your iMac isn't speaking text after you've highlighted it and hit the appropriate keys. I'm happy to help.
macOS Sierra: Hear your Mac speak text -- Make sure that's it's enabled and the keys you're using haven't changed.
