Can I run android apps on iPad

I Have been asked to download a android app for work, but I only have ipad and iPhone. Is there away of doing this?

iPad 2, iOS 7.0.4

Not possible.

Android is Android and iOS is iOS.

They are mutually incompatible mobile OSes and different App Stores environments.

Apps you have on your Android devices will have to be repurchased in the Apple iOS App store for use on your iDevices, if the developer has an iOS version of an Android app.

If not, you will need to find another approximate or equivalent third party app for an app that is only available for Android.

This is not any different than Microsoft Windows software being incompatible with Apple's OS X/macOS.

Two totally different operating systems.
