how to run icloud.com on snow leopard?

It seems a recent change to icloud.com means that trying to run on snow leopard (using Safari 5.1.10) is no longer permitted. What are others doing as a workaround? icloud.com is the only way to access my stuff on the cloud with a legacy computer running snow leopard : and I cannot upgrade because I must have a Rosetta layer for certain old applications. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.
