How to turn on ad tracking

There is the "limit ad tracking" option, but for a few apps to work you need this off. It's locked on, on. How do I reverse it

You can check your Restrictions to see if you have the option to change this setting set to "Don't Allow Changes": Settings>General>Restrictions>Advertising, make sure that it is set to "Allow Changes".

This option is not typically "locked on". Therefore, I'm guessing that your phone may have restrictions that are being enforced by MDM software from your employer? If so, there is nothing that you can do about it.

If this is your personal iPhone, and you have not installed a Profile that may be causing the restriction, then you have something odd going on.
