my iphone charging cable went for a wash wif my pants in the washing machine... i am still able to use it but what are the defects while using it . will i get an electric shock. Shld i replace my cable wif a new one . or is there a away to dry it. Or

No, your not going to get an electric shock. It's possible that the components in the cable that cause the phone to recognize it as an original Apple cable may corrode and fail. If you used it and there was still water on the end, you could have gotten water in your phone which is never good.


If it were my cable, I'd buy another one.
