I've searched wherever and no good answer found.
I need to transfer my outlook's .pst file into an mbox file to see my mails in Airmail Beta.
I don't want to pay an app. Is there a process or something to do this without paying?

I think you are going to struggle to find a free Mac only solution.
I do however seem to recall doing it successfully and free but this was by first using Mozilla Thunderbird on a Windows PC which had Outlook for Windows also installed. You first get Thunderbird to import the PST and it does this by using some of the installed Outlook for Windows software. Once you have it in Thunderbird on Windows you can export from Thunderbird as MBOX folders and then import those in to Apple Mail.
I've tried the thunderbird process installing the importexport add on too but it didn't work. I tried it both in PC and Mac and couldn't do it because the plug in does not read the .pst file (which is 20Gb, may be because of the size of the file...)

If you have access to a PC, you can upload the pst file using the email app on the PC to your account. These will download into Airmail.
Airmail only use mbox or eml like most of mail clients in mac. You cannot use a .pst to load your old mails in Airmail.😢
