How do I send an email blast to all contacts in my address book

I need to send an email blast to everyone in my address book notifying them of my new email address. I haven't been able to figure out how to do that without adding each person one by one to the email I want to send out- I'm sure there is an easier way similar to what I do when I am sending out an email blast to one of the various groups in the address book, but I don't know what that is. The mail version I am using is 9.3

In Contacts app create a Group and add everyone to it. In Mail, create the email, then add that Group to the address field. Use the BCC field, so each contact doesn't get addresses (and likely replies) of all the other people in the group.

Be aware that most all internet service providers do have maximums on the number of recipients and/or attachments - it is a measure to help keep spammers in check. Check with your ISP; if you are using iCloud, here are the maximums:

Mailbox size and message sending limits in iCloud - Apple Support

(iCloud allows quite a few - my ISP limits the number of email recipients to 25 maximum per email) - if yours has similar rules, you will need to send several messages.
