how do i install camera drivers

I have a Vivitar binocular camera and I would like to install the drivers. I have a .rar file but it won't install. How do I install the drivers?

Good question, but I am not sure. I have a Vivitar camera binocular. I was supplied with a link from the Vivitar website custofor the drivers for MacOS. It is a .rar file. I tried an app but my MacBook Pro would not install it because it didn't come from a developer, I think was the warning.

Thank you very much. I will try that. Also I apologize for not fully answering your question. My MacBook Pro is late 2008 and it has the latest update that's applicable.
