Freshmac found 4077 "issues" with my iMac which runs Sierra version 10.12.4 causing slowdown. Can I resolve?

I have 2009 iMac Desktop and used Freshmac to attempt to clear causes of slow -response.I am running Sierra version 10.12.4.Freshmac reports 4077 "issues" causing slow running of which 3792 are in Privacy Cleaner. Can I resolve this myself?

Yes. Freshmac should be deleted immediately. I believe it is a relative of MacKeeper, one or the most hated of trouble makers.


Do an Etrecheck report by downloading this program, read and send a copy of the report to us as an answer to this post.

Your Mac has a single issue: Freshmac. Dump it.


Here's a couple of tips: Your Mac does not need any app to "clean" or "tune up". They are all bunk.


Second: Never download anything from a site that doesn't even have an 'About Us' link. Why won't they tell you who they are? It's pretty basic: this is us, where we are based and even a street address.


So, bunk, and frankly, dodgy bunk at that.
