can't use personal hotspot on 6s

Never had a problem with this until recently.

Had varying issues with personal hotspot being unreilable since last summer but always managed to connect somehow. Usually it's been to do with my iTunes needing updating or something I think.

But now nothing.

I can't connect my laptop nor anyone else's.

I've tried everything recommended on the Apple site but it simply won't work. Driving me mad as I'm going to be away for a while and rely on my personal hotspot connection for work.

Can anyone help please?

I've tried with USB and wifi and neither will connect.

The top of the screen on my phone flashes a bit when it's trying to connect, so there must be something there. It's like it's trying but can't do it for some reason.

My phone is unlocked, bought from Apple store and I have a Vodafone sim which allows tethering.

Thx 🙂

if you're still having the problem after restoring to factory settings then setting up as new (NOT restoring from a backup) you should consider contacting Vodafone support to make sure your account is properly setup. Beyond that I would take your phone in to the Genius bar to see if they can resolve your issue.
