Trouble Rename Bose Soundlink Speaker
Has anyone had issues with renaming a Bose Soundlink Mini II speaker? I get to the rename dialog, type in a new name and hit rename, but the name doesn't change.
I just bought a couple of "Wonderboom" speakers, and I have a different but similar problem: I can rename either speaker just fine, but the rename operation only seems to last while the speaker is actually connected. If I disconnect the speaker, either from the speaker end or from the computer end, it comes up with the original name it had before I renamed it ("wonderboom," which is not helpful when there are two different Wonderbooms...). Any suggestions? Mac OS 10.11.6 on mid-2010 Mac Mini.
