Sierra Version 10.12.5 affects iCloud Settings

Like a good user, I updated the OS on my MAC right when it hit the street. Unfortunately, it seems to have changed the way my Mac works with iCloud. When I open the settings, everything is greyed out and it asks "Enter Password." After entering password, it momentarily recognizes the PW but goes right back to grey. I changed the PW and made it so on my phone and iPad; they don't seem to have any difficulties after the OS updated.

Thoughts?

Yes, I'm answering my own post. 😐

So, an idea pooped into my head; try syncing with another of my devices. Synced with the phone and presto, iCloud now works on my Mac. Hope this helps somebody else who, like me, is not an expert on all things Apple.
