Why won't Maps won't display labels on Mac?

Hi. I use the Maps app on my Mac very often. Recently, it won't display any labels for cities, countries, etc. only when I'm in satellite mode. If I switch to map mode, everything shows up. I do have the show labels option selected in the view menu. I have no idea why this is happening. Does anything know or have any ideas as to why this is and how to fix it? It doesn't make any sense.
